How to Bacon WeaveEdit

Step 1Edit

Begin by laying your bacon strips horizontally. Note how the slices are arranged - alternating the fat and lean ends as you put each slice into place. This keeps the weave square, and easier for weaving.

Step 2Edit

Start at the top, fold back every other strip to the left (the lean ends). Lay one strip (fat end at top) vertically down the middle.

Step 3Edit

Unfold the bacon to the right.

Step 4Edit

Start with the second strip down, fold back every other strip to the left (the fat ends).

Step 5Edit

Lay a strip vertically (lean end up top) making sure it is snug with the folded strips. Now unfold the strips to the right. *As you lay each vertical strip into place, you must alternate the fat and lean ends to keep it square.

Step 6Edit

Repeat Steps #2, #3 & #5 (fat end up top).

Step 7Edit

Repeat Steps #4, #5, #3.

Step 8Edit

Now the left side. Start with the second strip down; fold back every other strip (lean ends) to the right. Lay a strip vertically (fat end at top), and unfold the bacon back over to the left.

Step 9Edit

Starting at the top, fold back every other strip to the right. Lay a strip vertically (fat end at top), and fold the bacon back over to the left.

Step 10Edit

Repeat Steps #8 and #9 and you are done!
