Denny's Maple Bacon Sundae from it's 2011 Baconalia festival was a mixture of "maple flavored syrup, vanilla ice cream, and a generous sprinkle of our diced hickory-smoked bacon." [1] It received mixed to great reviews, depending on the tastes of the reviewer, with a major complaint being the abundance of maple syrup, mostly concentrated at the bottom.
