"Everything is better with bacon." - Rachel (Actress pretending to work at KFC)
"No argument here Rachel." - Narrator of the commercial below, and everyone on the Bacon Wiki.
Ok, so maybe KFC's commercial for their new Cheesy Bacon Bowl doesn't make the most creditable claims. They say it "might be the world's best tasting full meal", which is a clear load of bunkum. However, the addition of bacon to their Famous Bowl (mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, fried chicken and cheese) to make it a Cheesy Bacon Bowl takes this meal about 10,000 places up the "World's Best Tasting Full Meal" rankings. The ideology behind this advertisement rings truer than the old Sanders family dinner bell.
When asked how to make the Famous Bowl recipe even more famous, another KFC impostor says, with a cheeky smirk, "We put bacon on it." Yes sir, yes you did. And for that you are all the wiser. The first rule of mixing multiple foods into a bowl? The inclusion of bacon is compulsory. Clearly KFC wasn't selling enough Famous Bowls, and the addition of glorious bacon is essentially a marketing strategy. Bacon sells, bottom line. In fact, it makes me wonder what the KFC wizards were thinking when they created the Famous Bowl without bacon to begin with. What took you guys so long?!
